Incredibly, despite being the most sung-about player at the entire tournament by a country mile, Will Grigg *still* hasn’t had a single kick in Northern Ireland’s first two Euro 2016 matches.
On the bench for the narrow defeat to Poland and the victory over Ukraine, *surely* Michael O’Neill wouldn’t be able to resist the Wigan Athlateic man for a third straight game?
With the crowd (Germans, too) belting out ‘Will Grigg’s on Fire’ for the majority of the match at the Parc des Princes, those watching on telly pleaded for him to get his first Euro 2016 minutes.
But, with just six minutes remaining, O’Neill again opted not to throw him on, sending Niall McGinn on for Corey Evans in his third and final substitution.
Viewers didn’t take the news too well…
A disgrace that Will Grigg hasn't found the pitch yet. Where is Michael O'Neill's sense of theatre?

Michael O'Neill should be sacked for not putting Will Grigg on.

The biggest disappointment of this Euros is the fact that Will Grigg hasn't featured once! Absolute travesty!

But fear not, Grigg fans, Euro 2016 may not be completely Grigg-less just yet. Northern Ireland’s third place finish in Group C means that they still might make it through to the last 16 as one of the best third place finishers.
For the sanity of us all, can we please see the man on the field of play and just get it over with?
