The report claims that a source close to the player has said that Ronaldo is "angry" and "sad" at being accused of tax fraud and intends to leave Real Madrid as a result.
Recently, Spanish prosecutors had accused the four-time Ballon d'Or winner of evading tax to the value of £13m.
"He feels he's honest, has good character and did everything OK, so he doesn't understand," the source told the BBC.
"He's very sad and really upset."
Although some bookmakers have made Manchester United his most likely destination if he were to leave the Spanish capital, other reports suggest a move to Paris Saint-Germain is more likely.
