Gillespie was a talented player, but didn't make much of a mark at Old Trafford. However, he definitely made a mark in the charity game in Australia.
With the United legends trailing three-nil, Gillespie was filmed throwing an elbow at Dean Heffernan, the Australian team's left-back, in an off the ball incident and knocked him to the ground.

According to Fox Sports, Heffernan couldn't travel home after the game on Saturday night, and had to remain in a Perth hospital for scans.
The former Huddersfield Town and Australian international defender reportedly struggled to remember the incident and suffered damage to his jaw as well as some chipped teeth.
