Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has confirmed he will be joining Indian Super League side, Kerala Blasters.
The 37-year-old, who was part of United's Champions League-winning squads in 1999 and 2008, had been plying his trade for Blackburn Rovers last season after a five-year spell with Sunderland between 2011 and 2016.
Although some had expected him to retire from playing following his departure from Ewood Park, Brown has now announced on his Twitter account that he will make the move to the Kochi club.
'Hello India,' he tweeted on Tuesday morning. 'Happy Independence day! I'm coming soon to the exciting Indian Super League to play for Kerala Blasters.'

Brown will be reunited with Rene Muelensteen at the Blasters. The Dutchman, who was one of his coaches at United before leaving to manage Fulham in 2013, is head coach at the club.
