The ex-Manchester City man caused quit the stir on Twitter when he announced the sacking of Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal on Tuesday night.

However, Sinclair later revealed that he does not know whether Van Gaal will get the axe or not. He followed the tweets up with another explaining that he had left his phone unattended at a Christmas party and some prankster sent them as a joke.
