Manchester City are amongt sides interested in Ilkay Gundogan, a breaking report has confirmed.
Earlier, it was announced that Premier League clubs are keen in signing highly-decorated Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, as per David Ornstein of The Athletic.
The player is exploring his options amid the potential possibility of leaving the Catalonian club.
So far, interest has been expressed from England, Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Gundogan is currently under contract until 2026.
On Saturday, the Germany captain missed his side's La Liga opener with concussion, a game in which Barcelona beat Valencia 2-1.
After the game, boss Hansi Flick spoke on "how he feels ahead of the season".
"I know him very well," Flick stated.
"I appreciate the player and the person he is. We spoke about everything, but it will stay between us, it’s not for you to know. I have a feeling he will stay."
Following the expiration of his Man City contract in 2023, Gundogan joined Barcelona.
In his first season, he established himself as an integral part of Xavi's side, scoring five goals and providing 14 assists.
Gundogan is also reportedly 'open' to what would be a sensational Man City return, as per Adria Albets.
During his stellar time at the club, Gundogan won an impressive five Premier League titles, whilst completing the treble in 2023.
