The jersey in question was pretty controversial at the time but has since become something of a fan favourite. An arresting shade of blue, covered in a distressed grungy black design incorporating a huge off-centre club badge, it was worn during the 1992/93 season. Now it seems adidas are harking back to those glory days with their new design...even though it was made by rivals Umbro.
