Manchester United are investigating an incident involving Cristiano Ronaldo after the forward was accused of smashing a fan's phone after their defeat to Everton.

Footage shows Ronaldo throwing an object to the floor

In footage posted on social media, Ronaldo appears to lower his right hand before an object, which appears to look like a phone, bounces up from the ground.
