Nobody really foresaw Mohamed Salah having such a prolific season. He's never recorded numbers like this before. Before he arrived at Liverpool, he was a talented but wasteful and slightly inconsistent forward. As you will know, he's been rather clinical in front of goal this season. Salah and his Liverpool teammates will face up against Real Madrid in the Champions League final in three week's time, and he will be hoping to exploit the gap between Sergio Ramos and Marcelo on Madrid's left hand side. The last time he played against Real Madrid was in 2016, for Roma. It's not an exaggeration to say he had absolutely no joy during that battle. Jürgen Klopp has worked his magic and transformed him into one of the most dangerous forwards in the world. Of course it helps that he plays in a team set up to highlight his strengths and hide his weaknesses, but that's just good coaching.
