Fuel was poured on the Gerrard to Rangers fire on Tuesday night, when Gers chairman Dave King was pictured in the stands for Liverpool's 5-2 victory over Roma in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
King was at Anfield alongside Reds legends Ian Rush and Kenny Dalglish and that didn't go unnoticed with the oddsmakers as Gerrard was shortened to odds-on favourite to take over at the Scottish Premiership side.
Eagle-eyed fans are now of the opinion that Gerrard is destined to take his first managerial position in Glasgow.

Gerrard has previously spoken very affectionately of Rangers.
In an interview with the club's official YouTube channel last year, the former Liverpool captain said: "I’ll never forget when I'm invited to Ibrox, it's an iconic stadium.
"I've got a lot of respect for this football club and it's history and tradition - and that's the reason why we took the invitation up.
"I had to take the opportunity to bring my team up to experience playing in front of that stadium, just being in the surroundings, in the dressing room - it's a wonderful place."Explore more on these topics:
