André Onana had a moment to forget during Cameroon's African Cup of Nations third-place play-off as his costly goalkeeping error put Burkina Faso 2-0 up. The tournament's host nation were a much-changed side from their semi-final defeat to Egypt and struggled to get a hold of the game as Burkina Faso implemented their game plan perfectly. At first it looked as if the Ajax 'keeper would have a relatively straight forward catch to make - however the 25-year-old instead allowed the ball to slip through his hands and divert into an empty net. https://twitter.com/FootballJOE/status/1490051502030917636 There was initial confusion however - with many people thinking that the ball had gone out of play, however after a short delay to look at VAR - the goal was correctly given. Despite Onana's mistake, Cameroon didn't give up and were able to fight from 3-0 down to draw level - largely thanks to substitute Vincent Aboubakar, who scored twice - before winning 5-4 on penalties to secure third place.   Related links:
