The football season is back and, much to the disgust of many tuning in for Sunderland's opener against Derby County, so is Steve McClaren's hair.
The former England boss was on punditry duty for Sky Sports on Friday night - in the studio to watch former side Derby County taking on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
As anyone that happened to witness his work on the night of England's defeat to Iceland last summer will testify, McClaren is often an entertaining watch when in front of the cameras. On this occasion though, the 56-year-old's expert opinion was overshadowed by the sight of his own hair...
Many viewers vented their frustration at McClaren for refusing to let go of what remained of his hair, with several calls for him to bring out the clippers...
