I have to make sure he bet because earlier today I went to the sports book to bet and they wouldn't let me bet."It has been reported that Mayweather personally sought to bet $400,000 on the same outcome, at the M Resort, at 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon [Las Vegas time] but he was refused. Fighters are allowed place bets on themselves to win, in Vegas, but not on any specific markets like rounds of manner of victory.
So, Mayweather just won an additional $50,000 from his team's bet but he could have secured himself an extra $200,000.
