A Fantasy Football manager scored a whopping 223 points thanks to this team selection

We have nothing but respect for this...

This must surely be a contender for the highest score ever recorded?

With ten teams in action twice in the penultimate round of matches of the season, Gameweek 37 was always going to be a crucial one for Fantasy Football managers and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

The likes of Alexis Sanchez (27 points), Harry Kane (31), Kevin de Bruyne (15), Gabriel Jesus (19) and Heung-Min Son (19), all of whom proved popular selections with managers, delivered the goods in style, ramping up the excitement ahead of the last day of the season on Sunday.

With managers also making use of ‘chips’ such as ‘bench boost’, ‘all-out attack’ and ‘triple captain’, the potential to record a massive score was, well, massive.

The best score of the week was recorded by a team called Hadouken!!! managed by Hing Ta, who was rewarded with 223 points for a selection which included Alexis Sanchez as captain, César Azpilicueta (20 points) at the back, Heung-Min Son and Gabriel Jesus up front.

A bench featuring Harry Kane, Mesut Ozil (15 points) and Jordan Pickford, meanwhile, validated the decision to use the bench boost option in spectacular fashion.

With various mini-leagues still up for grabs, Gameweek 37 is bound to have put the cat amongst the pigeons heading into the final day on Sunday.

Sure, you might have given out about it all season, but you’re going to miss doing those late night/early Saturday morning transfers for the best part of the next three months.
