Sandro Tonali's arrival video has left people feeling that he may not be all that happy to have landed in Newcastle.
Footage of the midfielder stepping off the plane in Tyneside was released as was officially unveiled as Eddie Howe's first signing of the summer.
Tonali left boyhood club AC Milan to join the Magpies in a deal reportedly worth €70m and has signed a deal until 2028.
Speaking to the club website, he said: "First of all, I want to thank Newcastle United because they are giving me a huge opportunity for my career.
"I want to repay the trust on the pitch, giving it my all, as I always have. I'm really excited about playing at St. James' Park, I can't wait to feel the warmth of the fans."
While Newcastle fans are excited to get their first glimpse at the 23-year-old, others pointed out that the new arrival didn't look the happiest when landing in his new home.
One fan said: "He looks as if he dreads it."
A second tweeted: "He looks miserable."
"Tonali is going to flop so bad. Not even because he's 'overrated', I actually think he's a very good player but because he looks so depressed to be there & we're literally in July. Imagine what he'll be like in November. Definitely going back to Italy in 12 months time," wrote another user.
"Italian players in the prem never ends well, I wouldn’t be surprised if by April Tonali wants to go back to Serie A," said another.
