He was joined by a couple of teammates, the celebration becoming one of the more memorable moments of the tournament.

Over a couple of decades on, you’d be forgiven for not keeping up to speed with the life of Bebeto’s kid. As it turns out, he’s doing alright for himself, as news from Portugal confirms.

Nearly 23 years on from becoming a World Cup legend, Bebeto’s son – real name Mattheus Oliveira – has just inked a deal with Sporting Lisbon after impressing during his time with fellow Primeira Liga side, Estoril. Here he is, the handsome devil, posing for a picture that was posted on Sporting’s Instagram page.

Feeling old? Of course you’re feeling old.
