Ex-Premier League star shows unreal close control to score on MLS comeback (Video)

He's still got it...

It might be more than four years since Obafemi Martins last stepped onto a Premier League pitch, but he is as lethal in front of goal as ever.

The Nigeria international, who plays for Seattle Sounders in MLS, scored less than 20 minutes into his comeback game after two months out injured.

And it wasn’t any ordinary goal. 30-year-old striker Martins showed ridiculous pace and close control, turning sharply and playing one-twos with two team-mates before slotting past Orlando City goalkeeper Tally Hall.

Seattle lost eight of the nine games they played during his absence, scoring just three times, so they will be grateful to have their danger-man back.
