Begovic – 7
Stopped Everton getting out of sight with some sharp saves, suggesting Thibaut Courtois’ injury might not be the massive blow some have claimed.

Becoming a liability at the back, both in terms of positioning and making opponents work. Feebly turned his back on the ball for Naismith’s second.

Struggled with Everton’s front three throughout – emphasised how he’s still learning the ropes in the Premier League.

Blameless for the goals, though he seemed to get away with a back-pass in the second half.

His usual solid self. Mourinho might be tempted to move him to his more natural right side to introduce Baba Rahman to the first-team.

Fantastic goal to give the Blues hope, but the game was far more open than the Serb normally allows it to be.

It hasn’t happened for the Belgian this season. Tried hard to force the issue but was well-contained by Everton’s back-line.
