England play Switzerland this evening in a friendly

Gareth Southgate has made nine changes to the England side that lost 2-1 to Spain on Saturday night for tonight’s friendly against Switzerland at the King Power stadium.

Only Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire keep their places in the starting XI, as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kyle Walker, James Tarkowski and Danny Rose come into the back five.

Eric Dier, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fabian Delph will start in midfield, while Danny Welbeck joins Rashford up front.

The team is as follows: Butland; Walker, Tarkowski, Maguire; Alexander-Arnold, Rose; Dier, Loftus-Cheek, Delph; Welbeck, Rashford.

If England lose against Switzerland, it will be the nation’s longest ever run of losses.

The game kicks off at 8pm and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
