The tournament starts on Thursday

England fans at the World Cup could face being kicked out of grounds over "cheeky chants or swearing", reports Sun Sport.

Thanks to a 94-point Fifa code of conduct, there are several rules that have been implemented for the tournament.

The 2500 word document sent to ticket holders ahead of Thursday's opener warns that fans must not behave in a manner deemed to “disturb public order or cause offence to a reasonable person”.

The document adds: “For the avoidance of doubt, tattoos and body paint do not constitute clothing.”

England fans' traditional use of St George's Cross flags with club names are banned, if they cover advertisers' names.

Any flags or banners measuring more than 2mx1 are also banned completely, should they be banned from the website portal.

England's first match at the tournament kicks off on the 17th June, as Thomas Tuchel's Three Lions meet a familiar foe in Croatia.

Competing with the Croats at major international tournaments recently, the side knocked England out of the World Cup semifinal in 2018, courtesy of an Ivan Perisic and Mario Mandzukic comeback.

Last time out though, England were victorious courtesy of a Raheem Sterling goal in an opening Euro 2020 1-0 win.
