We’ve said this about 10 times now
The summer is here, kind of, and as such we’re being treated to more and more new football kits. Every day there is another new kit to drool over, and every day there is a new best kit.
Recently we have seen Chelsea’s new third kit and Cambridge United’s new home kit – both of which are absolute class – and on Friday we were treated to Derby County’s new home kit courtesy of Umbro.

Now there’s not much you can do with the Derby kit. The shirt is white, the shorts are black, and the socks are white. White and black are their colours. That’s it.
But somehow, and thankfully, Umbro have done something spectacular with this newest effort, and it may actually be the kit of the season – really.
It’s still white and black – as it will always be – but it’s the details, and the details on the sleeves in particular, that make this a beauty.
As you can see, the sleeves have stripes of differing sizes, thickness and darkness, and to be honest there’s not much more we need to say on the matter. It’s lovely, and whether you are or aren’t a Derby County supporter then you should buy it.
