Arsenal are closing in on signing Denis Suárez from Barcelona as the Gunners look to replace Aaron Ramsey, who is set to leave for Juventus at the end of the season. https://twitter.com/SkyKaveh/status/1081327093856772104 Suarez has found himself out of favour at the Nou Camp, making just six appearances for Barça this season, and the club are ready to offload the midfielder after his homecoming didn't work out as planned. Arsenal, meanwhile, are hoping to sign the Spaniard as a long-term replacement for the departing Aaron Ramsey, whose contract is up at the end of the season. Ramsey looks likely to sign a pre-contract with Juventus this January before joining the Serie A side in the summer on a free transfer. Suarez will only cost Arsenal a reported £14m due to his status at Barcelona, but the 24-year-old still has a lot to give and has worked under Gunners boss Unai Emery at Sevilla.Explore more on these topics:
