I know what you've been thinking these last few days... What on Earth was that stain on Declan Rice's shorts?
Despite another stellar performance for the Gunners in their Champions League win against Porto, it was Rice's shorts that were the biggest talking point of the night.
Many noticed on the back of his shorts was a brown stain. I'll leave you to imagine what most people thought that was.
Thankfully, the Peter Crouch podcast was on hand to help us as Steve Sidwell got in touch with the man himself to find out what had happened.
In their latest episode, Sidwell texted the midfielder and said: "Dec, hi mate. Sorry, I'm just doing the podcast with Starky and Crouchy. There's a picture circulating on socials with you bending over to take a corner – looks like the other night against Porto – and there's a dark stain on your shorts.
"Great result by the way. We're just looking to confirm or deny… when you go in after and you took your shorts off, were there no skidders?
"If you could come back and confirm or deny that, that would be great, cheers."
The suspense as the gang waited for a response was killing those listening in but luckily, the Arsenal man responded and gave his account of short-gate.
"I've seen that circulating and it does look very suspicious. That's because there is nothing else around the shorts other than that area," he explained.
"I can confirm that there were no skidders, mate," Rice added. "So, I'm happy to assume it's 100 per cent mud.
"I did fly into a few tackles and got myself in a few positions… So yeah mate, it definitely ain't that."
It's your choice if you want to believe that.
Rice has currently had the weekend off as Arsenal's league game was postponed due to FA Cup action and will now be preparing for England's upcoming friendlies against Belgium and Brazil.
