David Moyes swoops for long-term Liverpool target

Any Liverpool hopes of signing Asier Illaramendi have been dashed by a familiar face.

"I wanted to return, I haven't yet spoken to my teammates, later I will speak with them. Real [Sociedad] has always been my first option and I was really wanting to return home, of course," Illaramendi told reporters. Although it might be a bit of a blow for some Liverpool supporters, enjoying David Moyes' comical pronunciation of his new player's name should at least put a smile on their faces...
