Conor McGregor has been offered a great opportunity by BJJ legend Eddie Bravo

There could yet be a changing of the guard in Camp McGregor.

The Notorious has taken a heap of flak ever since he tapped out, under severe duress, from Nate Diaz at UFC 196. https://twitter.com/TonyFergusonXT/status/712148737015939072 McGregor has won renown for his striking abilities but has yet to fully convince critics of his wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu credentials in the octagon. One man that has praised McGregor, in that regard, is Eddie Bravo. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu third degree black-belt believes McGregor is more than capable and has offered his help IF the Irishman wants it. Bravo told MMA Junkie Radio:

"We have hung out a couple times, and he’s been to my school [10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu] once, but we’ve never talked about working together. "I would definitely work with him. (But) these fighters, at this level, they’ve got their team - their wrestling coach, striking coach, their jiu-jitsu coach. "If someone tries to learn stuff from another coach, the team kind of gets hurt and it causes some tension and peoples’ feelings get hurt. Sometimes, it’s better for the camp to keep it nice and tranquil to not mess around and work with other trainers. "I don’t want to cause any problems and make a public offer to work with Conor or anything. But I would if he came to me - I definitely would. "My style isn’t something you can come by for a couple of days and pick up some stuff. My style, you’ve got to make it a lifestyle to make it work. It takes a while."

McGregor appears likely to face Diaz again at UFC 200, in July, so he may not have necessary time to tear up his current BJJ approach and start again.
