The position is Lampard's first in management
Derby County have appointed former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard as manager after the departure of Gary Rowett to Stoke City.
The 39-year-old has been working as a pundit with the BBC and BT Sport since finishing his playing career in 2016 at New York City FC. He had spent the previous season with Manchester City.

Lampard will take over a side which has consistently positioned close to the top of the Championship table in recent seasons, but one which has been dogged with accusations of a mentality due to a high number of late-season collapses.
His predecessor, Rowett, brought the team to the Championship play-offs last season, where they were eliminated by eventual play-off winners Fulham.
Lampard joins the club on a three year contract, and becomes the second BT Sport to take a top flight job this year, after Steven Gerrard joined Scottish Premiership side Rangers.
