Brazil’s beautiful new World Cup away shirt has been leaked

Assuming World War 3 doesn’t kick off in the mean time, the World Cup is a matter of months away.

Now, with the first international break of the calendar year imminent, we’ve seen pretty much all there is to see in terms of the kits each team will be wearing in Russia.

Up to now, the consensus is that Nigeria have the loveliest of all the freshly-released World Cup kits, although Germany’s new retro away offering has also made a big impression, too.

Now, after seeing their new home shirt a while back, Footy Headlines have finally given us a glimpse of the soon-to-be-released Brazil away shirt.

In keeping with tradition, Nike have produced a predominantly blue shirt, finished off with yellow applications. Its front features a pattern containing several large, overlapping stars. This appears to have been inspired by the five stars that sit above the badge, each representing the country’s past World Cup successes.

Not bad, eh?

Although this is yet to be confirmed, it’s expected that the kit will be finished off with white shorts and blue socks.

Brazil will face tournament hosts Russia and reigning world champions Germany in friendlies later this month. By then, it’s expected the kit will have been released and could even get an airing during one of the matches.
