Tyson Fury warned of Oleksandr Usyk gameplan to beat him

The manager of heavyweight fighter Oleksandr Usyk has claimed that the Ukrainian already has a game plan to help beat Tyson Fury, should the two go up against each other. Usyk is currently training for his rematch against Anthony Joshua, which is set to take place in 2022, after he beat Joshua at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium back in September to win the IBF, WBO and WBA heavyweight titles. There were hopes that Joshua would step aside to allow Usyk to fight the 'Gypsy King' in a unification fight after he knocked out Deontay Wilder back in October, but an agreement couldn't be made, with Fury now set to fight Dillian Whyte after he was ordered to a mandatory fight. But despite the temporary halt to plans, there are hopes that the fight can still happen once Usyk has fought Joshua again and the Ukrainian's manager Sergey Lapin has warned Fury that his prized asset will be no match in the ring. "As for a potential fight with Fury, Fury has an advantage in size, and he is mobile and fast for a boxer with his size, but there is one thing," he told MyBettingSites.

‘The biggest problem with these huge heavyweights is their condition in 12-round confrontations. The pace of the fight that Oleksandr sets, the huge heavyweights of today will not be able to stand.

"Technically, it will be very interesting. Tyson Fury has a very uncomfortable boxing technique, but in order for Fury to deliver his series of blows, he will need to spend a lot of effort, and this will be his undoing.

"Ultimately the weight and height advantage in this fight does not matter for Oleksandr Usyk, he adapts to any opponent. Observers of world boxing will soon see how Alexander Usyk will restore order in the heavyweight division."

He said: "I have known Oleksandr for more than 20 years. I have been there and seen all of his successes in boxing.

"One thing that sets him apart is he processes information and adapts to the fighter in front of him very, very quickly. It sometimes seems to me that he is from another planet – he is that good.
