The former boxer's condition has been confirmed after he was taken ill in Banbury
The agent of Frank Bruno has confirmed that the one-time heavyweight boxing champion is recovering after contracting pneumonia.
On Monday morning, Dave Davies announced the news via Bruno's official Twitter account.
He wrote: "Frank has contracted Pneumonia. We must say a big thank you to the staff of The Horton General hospital, in Banbury who have treated him.
"He now needs a few weeks rest."

Bruno, 57, retired with a career record of 40 wins and five defeats, the last of which came to Mike Tyson in Las Vegas in 1996 as he lost the WBC Heavyweight title he had claimed the previous year. That Wembley win over Oliver McCall was his fourth attempt at sealing the belt, after losing by knockout in iconic bouts with Tyson and Lennox Lewis.
He was awarded an MBE in 1990 and has most recently been attending charity events and undertaking media appearances, in particular appearing in the Fwends Reunited show looking back at Channel 4 sitcom The Inbetweeners. He was also pictured taking in James DeGale's fight with Chris Eubank Jnr. in London last month.
