The BBC have confirmed who will replace Gary Lineker as host of Match of the Day.
Gary Lineker confirmed in late 2024 that he would be leaving Match of the Day in 2025, after 26 years in the role.
Despite his departure from the BBC's flagship football highlights show, Lineker will continue to lead the BBC's coverage of the FA Cup next season and will also anchor their coverage of the 2026 World Cup.
Now the BBC have confirmed that three presenters will share the role of host for the first time.
The trio of presenters includes long-time Match of the Day 2 presenter Mark Chapman, experienced BBC and ITV presenter Gabby Logan and Sky Sports host Kelly Cates.
BBC Sport director Alex Kay-Jelski said: "I know viewers will love these three incredible broadcasters and journalists at the heart of our football coverage next season.
"They're brilliant at what they do and MOTD viewers can be sure they will be well looked after as the big football talking points are expertly analysed.
