BBC confirm full pundit lineup for World Cup

Some big names are missing, with some big pundits remaining.

The World Cup takes off on June 11, with host country Mexico hosting South Africa at the Estadio Azteca, in a repeat of the 2010 opener.

The iconic tournament then runs through to July 19, where the two finalists will face off at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Live coverage will be between ITV and the BBC, with the BBC showing 54 of the 104 matches from the host nations in North America.

BBC Sport's roster of pundits is brilliant, with the names as follows below.

The first iconic names to be on the team are the legendary Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer.

Then comes the former Spurs gaffer Thomas Frank, who has been out of management work since departing North London.

In comes a former forward who featured in North London, as Olivier Giroud joins our screens.

These footballing figures will also be joined by Micah Richards, Danny Murphy, Joe Hart and Paul Robinson, alongside Lionesses legends Steph Houghton and Ellen White.
