He’s barely been in Manchester a couple of weeks, yet Bastian Schweinsteiger has already got his sights set on heading back to Munich.
But fear not, United fans. Bastian merely wants his new teammates to sample the Bavarian city’s legendary beer festival – Oktoberfest.

“I once said to Wayne [Rooney], if we have time, I want to invite the team to Oktoberfest,” the World Cup winner told Sky Deutschland.
However, convincing Louis van Gaal about a trip to Munich may be a little trickier.
“I do not know if we have that much time, and if it has the coach’s approval,” he added.
