Baseball is the closest thing America has to cricket, but we’re not sure that this sort of behaviour would fly at Lords.
While the Washington Nationals were going through their routine batting practice ahead of their game with the Miami Marlins, they were forced to deal with a rather bizarre distraction.
Apparently the Marlins’ PA guy didn’t think much of the Nationals’ batting ability, and let them know all about it.

The ploy apparently worked, as the Nationals couldn’t quite get the runs and instead put up a bit of a stinker, losing 4-1.
