Atletico Madrid were forced to cancel their open training session on Monday after large sections of the crowd directed abuse towards Joao Felix.
Felix is seemingly deemed surplus to requirements at Atletico and was named as an unused substitute in the 3-1 win against Granada - his first competitive game back since returning from a loan spell at Chelsea.
After the game, Felix and the other players who were given no game time, took part in a fitness session however it had to be ended earlier than planned.
Many stayed behind to chant "this Portuguese guy, son of a bi*** he is" and it got so out of hand that Atletico's coaching staff decided to abandon the session.
The Portugal international, who signed in a £113m deal from Benfica in 2019, was recently stripped of his number seven shirt and although no concrete offers have come in, has been linked with a move away.
Barcelona are one of those interested but Atletico boss Diego Simeone revealed that Felix may still have a part to play this season.
Speaking to AS, he said: "I see that the La Liga has started, he is with us, he knows what we need and want, what we are going to demand of him, he has to compete with Memphis, Griezmann, Morata and Correa and if he is better than them, he will play."
