With no seating plan in place, Mourinho eyed an empty chair close to Zinedine Zidane and Unai Emery but when he asked whether the seat was free for him to sit down, he was met with a masterclass in immaturity from a familiar face.
The report claims that Wenger piped up immediately by saying "no, it is not possible," as he did not want to sit next to Mourinho, with whom he shares a frosty relationship.
Apparently, the response was met with awkward laughter while some pretended not to hear the curt reply.
We all know that there is no love lost between the Manchester United and Arsenal managers, with a war of words dating back to 2004.
The rivalry came to a head in October 2014 when they engaged in a shoving match on the sidelines during Chelsea's 2-0 victory over the Gunners.
We're expecting odds on a hair-pulling incident between the two to plummet before the pair next meet at Old Trafford on November 19. It promises to be a heated affair.
