Arsenal make refugee pledge for Saturday’s game against Stoke

Arsenal are already one of 80 top European clubs to pledge €1 per ticket of their opening European game this year towards refugee relief efforts.

But the north London outfit have become the first Premier League side to make a similar pledge for a league game.

The Gunners have announced that £1 of every ticket sold for Saturday’s home game against Stoke will go towards helping those fleeing war-torn Syria.

Hopefully more Premier League clubs will follow suit.
