Yes it was only a friendly, but the signs were good for Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger's men put Viking FK to the sword in Norway an 8-0 pasting in their penultimate pre-season game.
Goals flooded in after a shaky start, with Joel Campbell, Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott finding back of the net.
Alex Iwobi then scored two and then Chuba Akpom finished off the rout in the final minute.
That is three wins from four pre-season games with Arsenal set to meet Man City before the Premier League season kicks off in earnest.
