Yes it was only a friendly, but the signs were good for Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger's men put Viking FK to the sword in Norway an 8-0 pasting in their penultimate pre-season game. Goals flooded in after a shaky start, with Joel Campbell, Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott finding back of the net. Alex Iwobi then scored two and then Chuba Akpom finished off the rout in the final minute.
