Arsenal believe they can win the title, claims one of the Invincibles

After more than a decade without winning the Premier League, Arsenal finally have the belief to challenge for top honours once more.

That's the opinion of Martin Keown, who was part of the Gunners' title-winning sides in 1998, 2002 and the Invincibles season in 2004. Speaking to 888sport.com, Keown said: “It just feels like there’s a different belief now. When you don’t win trophies for a while it just becomes words and actions speak much louder and since winning cups again the belief is there for the players and the fans.” Keown explained that he "sensed a different type of atmosphere in the stadium" at the Emirates Cup recently. "They don’t want to suffocate the players with expectation but they know what having a special team feels like and this one is beginning to show some special qualities," he said. The 2015/16 season marks the first time since 2012/13 that Arsenal will not have their early season activity disrupted by a Champions League play-off, and they will look to hit the ground running. Their season begins against Chelsea in the Community Shield.
