However, their latest offer has not met the player's expectations. Martial became the world's most expensive teenager in 2015 when he signed for the club from Monaco for a fee rising to £58m, a record that has since been smashed by his compatriot Kylian Mbappé. United still believe there is a lot to come from the 22-year-old and want to keep him around for a while longer, hoping that he can fulfil his potential.
