Another striker has left Manchester United

Manchester United’s promising young striker James Wilson has joined Derby County.

Wilson, who recently scored for the England Under 21s, has left Old Trafford on a loan deal. It is understood that there is an immediate release clause built into the deal, should United pick up an injury in their already depleted striking department.

With the youngster’s departure, United are left with just Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial as the only recognised strikers in their first team squad, although it is expected that Marouane Fellaini will be used in a more advanced role this season.
