Could this be the season he breaks through into the first team?
Andreas Pereira has long been touted as a potential superstar, but he has struggled to break through into the Manchester United first team over the past few seasons. A loan move to Valencia last season allowed him to get a lot more minutes under his belt, and learn from one of the best coaches in Europe: Marcelino.
Pereira was given a start for Manchester United last night against AC Milan, and fans were impressed by what they saw. The diminutive midfielder was composed on the ball and displayed an impressive array of passes, attracting praise from a lot of United fans who would like to see the Brazilian given more of a chance next season by manager José Mourinho.

United have already signed Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk this summer, who will be competing with Pereira for minutes next season, but United fans seem adamant that their academy product needs to have a more prominent role in the upcoming season.
