Adnan Januzaj returns to Manchester United after Dortmund loan cut short

It's hardly a secret that Manchester United haven't done too well when it's come to putting the ball in the back of the net this season.

One of the many attacking players to have left Old Trafford in Louis van Gaal's time at the club is Adnan Januzaj - but thankfully for his manager, his departure was only a temporary one. The Belgian has hardly set the world alight in his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and has now returned to Manchester at a time when van Gaal's side is desperately need of attacking reinforcements. Reports claim that United chose to cancel the loan after being unhappy at the lack of opportunities the Belgian was getting in Dortmund's first team. Although not an out an out striker, Januzaj has already scored in United's early season win at Aston Villa. Having returned to Manchester earlier than was expected, perhaps now he can offer his manager another attacking option.
