He might have threatened to put Steven Gerrard in a headlock when the pair met in the FA Cup this season, but Adebayo Akinfenwa
has turned down the chance of a rematch with the outgoing Liverpool captain.
The 16-stone striker has rejected a lucrative move to MLS this summer in order to re-sign with AFC Wimbledon.
Speaking to AFC Wimbledon's official site Akinfenwa, known as 'The Beast', said: "There was a lot of interest in me, but that was not the sole reason for me going to America. It was also about my brand and shooting a documentary."
