According to reports, Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth was 'furious' with the alleged abuse that Akinfenwa was receiving from the away fans.

As per Ian Baker, there was a tannoy announcement to ask the MK Dons fans to refrain from signing the chant in question, however, many fans ignored the request.

The games was paused as Ainsworth spoke to the referee about the incident - with the game able to continue following the delay.
