The incident occurred outside a chip shop in Aberdeen
Former Manchester City and Aberdeen defender Shay Logan was involved in a late-night brawl outside a chip shop in Aberdeen.
Video footage shows the 34-year-old, who made almost 300 appearances for Aberdeen before leaving in 2021, involved in an altercation with another man.
In the video Logan can be seen throwing a number of shots towards the man, who falls to his knees trying to defend himself at one stage. The former Man City player can be heard being encouraged before a man jumped in to separate the two.

Its currently unknown as to why the Cove Rangers defender was involved, or what started the altercation but Logan posted to his Instagram story on Saturday a picture showing him smiling with the caption: “Chat s**t get banged” – a quote made famous by Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
Logan has previously been involved in controversy while playing in Scotland. In 2020, while at Aberdeen and working as a part-time plumber, the defender was investigated after sending abuse towards another plumber.
A message sent by Logan said: “I’ve lived a life you can only dream of due to my career, P.S you’re a c**t.” Its unknown if Aberdeen sanctioned him internally.
In 2019 Logan also dressed up as Scott Brown for his stag do in Tenerife. The pair had a fierce rivalry on the pitch during the former Celtic captain’s playing days and were involved in many altercations.
The 34-year-old made 26 appearances in all competitions, assisting six times.
