Manchester City need to talk about Kevin
Kevin de Bruyne didn’t quite cut it at Chelsea but that hasn’t deterred Manchester City from offering him another chance in the Premier League.
De Bruyne, arguably the youngest-looking player in professional football at the moment, is tearing it up for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, and the Daily Mail say it’ll take £40m to convince the German side to let him leave.
Sterling staying put
Speaking of huge fees for young talent, Liverpool are supposedly adamant that no amount of money will convince them to let Raheem Sterling leave the club this summer.
The future of the 20-year old has been the subject of plenty of speculation, with both Arsenal and Manchester City reportedly interested in taking him off Liverpool’s hands.
According to the Daily Star, however, the Reds won’t let him leave, even if he does refuse to put pen to paper on the type of contract that would cause more salivating than an all-day breakfast at McDonald’s.
