A man who has travelled to nearly 200 countries has shared which one he thinks is the most ‘annoying’.
Luca Pferdmenges, from Germany, is only 22 years old but has already travelled to an impressive 190 countries.
On TikTok, Pferdmenges has over 2.9 million followers who he shares his adventures with, but his latest confession has left some fans reeling.
Talking exclusively to the Daily Mail, Pferdmenges discussed which countries he had travelled to which he found to be the ‘most annoying’.
He was asked which countries he thought were ‘overrated’ to which he replied: “Egypt, France, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, most of the Caribbean Lesser Antilles. They’re often very touristy and often don’t have much besides pretty beaches.
“Egypt is the most annoying country for tourists in my opinion,” he said before adding that the Caribbean is ‘super-overrated’.
He followed this up by naming a number of countries he believed were underrated including Uzbekistan, some Baltic countries, Myanmar and most countries in Latin America.
He said to the Daily Mail: “People usually forget they exist, but they’re often way more exciting and more affordable than the ‘classic tourism destinations’.
“Especially hidden gems like Bhutan and Myanmar. They are really unknown, but some of the prettiest countries in the world.”
Known online as @thegermantravelguy, Pferdmenges is somewhat of an expert but many took offence to his assessment of Egypt saying he ‘must have visited the wrong places’ in Egypt.
He has visited every single country in Europe and was asked which he believes is the most dangerous. He replied with Belgium at night.
“It just feels super unsafe at night in my opinion - and I'm talking about Brussels here. And many of the Belgian cities are pretty ugly as well. Grey and depressive, especially in winter.”
He also included Paris, London and Frankfurt on his most dangerous list.
He warned people against going to the more popular holiday destinations of France, Italy, Greece or Spain saying: “There are 40 other countries worth being explored.
“It’s surprising how little recognition places such as Montenegro or Slovenia get. They are some of the most beautiful countries in the world – and cheap – but nobody visits them.”
