Zack Polanski has hinted at standing for Keir Starmer's seat in the next general election.
Speaking on the BBC's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg show, the leader of the ever-increasing-in-popularity Green Party spoke about potentially challenging Keir Starmer for his seat in the next general election.
After mentioning that Polanski had suggested he may run as MP in London, Keunssberg mentioned that one poll claims he would have enough support to win in Keir Starmer's Holborn and St Pancras constituency.
To this, Polanski replied: "It would be very tempting to take Keir Starmer down".
When pushed further on this comment the Green Party leader added: "I'm tempted to take on any Labour MP that is a disaster and ultimately replace them with a better MP who will stand for people and planet rather than vested interested."
The Green Party has seen a meteoric rise in popularity since Polanski became leader, notably drawing the attention of many younger voters.
The Greens are currently polling at 17 per cent on YouGov's voting intention tracker, just two points behind Labour.
