But eagle-eyed social media users were quick to spot that gaffe-prone Truss had already made an unfortunate blunder by tweeting out that she was "ready to hit the ground" rather than "hit the ground running" in a celebratory tweet.
The mistake got plenty of people talking, with Femi Oluwole saying she has "managed to embarrass herself within SECONDS of making it to the final two!"
