Reform polling malaise shows no sign of letting up, as the party dropped to a record low in a new poll.
The latest data from Find Out Now saw a two-point drop in support for Nigel Farage’s party, as they fell to 20%.
This is the lowest vote share Find Out Now has ever recorded for Reform, since it started including them in their voting intention polls in November 2024.
Along with this, the party have fallen one point behind the Tories in yet another poll that puts Reform in third.
It represents a remarkable drop-off for Reform with Find Out Now, who had the right-wing party polling at 33% – and 15 points clear at the top – less than a year ago.
Meanwhile, at the top Labour are five points clear, thanks to a one-point increase in support combined with a one-point fall for the Conservative Party.
And further down, there were encouraging signs for the Green Party, who jumped to 13% following a two-point increase.
This is despite recent controversy over the party’s ‘Zionism is racism’ motion.
This is another poll to put Labour top by a margin above the three-point margin of error accepted by pollsters.
After three months of Andy Burnham’s time as Labour leader and prime minister, it’s worth looking at how dramatically the polls have shifted.
Politico’s Poll of Polls shows that as recently as mid-May, Labour were polling at an average of 17%, nine points behind Reform who had had a commanding lead in pretty much every poll for months.
After Burnham’s win in Makerfield, a moment that paved the way for him to replace Starmer, Labour’s support ticked up, but when he officially took office on July 20, the party were still behind Reform in the polls.
In the three months of Andy Burnham’s premiership though, Labour have seen their polling average jump from 22% to 26%.
At the same time, Reform have been dogged by scandal, controversy and a farcical by-election, causing their polling average to drop to 22%.
Now, a number of polls are putting Reform in third place as Kemi Badenoch seemingly starts to win back disaffected right-wing voters who had been swayed by Farage.
